Computer Vision Engineer (Part-time / Remote)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Computer Vision Engineer who will contribute to the vision analytics for automated crop inspection.
If you are passionate about changing one of the most untouched, but potential industry with machine learning and computer vision, this is your opportunity to work with a great team.
You will be developing algorithms/models for crop(leaf, fruit, node, flower) index extraction which will be implemented into the self-driving robots.

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข
Working with the data science team to research, develop and optimize computer vision and deep learning models for crop status identification

Required Characteristics

โ€ข
At least 2 years of experience in computer vision or deep learning for object detection and tracking along with semantic or instance segmentation in industrial domain (academic experience as well)
โ€ข
BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning preferred but in related fields are also welcome to apply provided they have a significant experience in computer vision
โ€ข
Experience with any machine/deep learning frameworks like Tensorflow, PyTorch, or Keras
โ€ข
Experience with image processing with datasets except MNIST or CIFAR
โ€ข
Ability to transform research articles into the working solutions to solve real-world problems
โ€ข
Must be able to produce solutions independently in an organized manner and also be able to work in a team with good communication skills

Preferred Characteristics

Curiosity, eagerness and motivations to be involved in Agri-Technology
โ€ข
Have worked on robotics with computer vision algorithms (frame transformations, camera calibration, optical flow, etc.)

Have knwoledge of latest 3D sensing, reconstruction, metrology technologies
